  • Establish design style, materials preferences, and sustainability considerations

Site Analysis & Documentation

  • Evaluate existing conditions: grading, soil, drainage, sun/shade, utilities, and structures

  • Identify constraints and opportunities

  • Take measurements, photos, and note local codes or HOA requirements

Design Development

  • Refine the approved concept into detailed plans

  • Select materials (pavers, stone, concrete, wood, metal, etc.)

  • Specify plant types, sizes, and placement

  • Coordinate grading, drainage, lighting, and irrigation where applicable

STEP 5
Final Design & Documentation

  • Produce final construction drawings and specifications

  • Include dimensions, elevations, and installation details

  • Prepare cost estimates or bid-ready documents

Review & Approval

  • Walk through the final design with the client

  • Make minor adjustments if needed

  • Secure final approval before construction

Construction Coordination

  • Collaborate with contractors or installation teams

  • Provide design clarification and site visits as needed

  • Ensure design intent is followed through completion

Project Completion

  • Conduct final walkthrough

  • Provide maintenance guidelines for landscape and hardscape elements
